
The Certified Associate in Green Building Construction (AGBC) aims to provide the participants with the fundamental knowledge, skills, tools and techniques necessary for them to pass the LEED(R) Green Associate Examination, an ISO17024 examination administered by US Green Building Council and the Green Building Certification Inc. The AGBC is the Nievgen exam preparation and certification process for LEED(R) GA and shall certify the individual on his knowledge and competency on Green Building principles, practices and construction.
Duration: 16 Hours
Sessions: Four (4) Days x 4 Hours/Day
Target Participants: Credential aspirants of LEED(R) Green Associate
Competencies:
AGBC-01. Understand the LEED(R) certification process.
AGBC-02. Understand the LEED(R) integrative process.
AGBC-03. Be familiar with standards that support LEED.
AGBC-04. Strategize site location and transportation.
AGBC-05. Assess, design and develop sites for sustainability.
AGBC-06. Promote water efficiency and performance management
AGBC-07. Promote energy efficiency and renewable energy.
AGBC-08. Understand environmental concerns and issues.
AGBC-09. Understand reuse, recycling and waste management.
AGBC-10. Understand product declaration for environmental protection.
AGBC-11. Ensure and maintain indoor environmental quality.
AGBC-12. Understand the impact of built environment and sustainable design.

Requirements:
To pass the certification process, the AGBC candidate must:
1. Attend 100% of the courses.
2. Participate fully on the course activities.
3. Collaborate with the team during class activities.
4. Answer four (4) multiple choice homeworks.
5. Pass the final examination.
6. Must have camera ON during sessions.
